Oh Say can you C
Look up the word whimsy in the dictionary. If the definition seems to go on and on about an emotional connection you may feel when you see a dress, a car, hear a song, see a child's smile. Whimsy is how you feel when you see a cute handbag that seems to defy logic and offer instead a feeling of happiness. It's a sort of unstructured emotion that lets you be free. Whimsy seems to give you license to just do what feels good.
Take a look at our whimsy collection

How to Select a Handbag?
How do you select a handbag? Here are some pointers to considers, even if you're buying a non traditional bag like a duct tape bag. Three main points to consider are price, shape and color.
When it comes to color, many women always choose black over the other colors. The number one reason for selecting a black bag is because "it matches with everything in the closet". Well isn't that also a good reason to buy something different? Now don't get me wrong, there are some beautiful black bags, but what about a multi colored bag with black as the primary color. Consider the other neutral colored bags like brown or white.
When it comes to price, it shouldn't only be what fits your budget, but you should also consider the craftsmanship and 'return policy'. How many times have you bought a new bag and just allowed the new bag to take up space in your closet.
And finally, you should consider the shape of the bag. Is it appropriate to have an oversized shoulder bag or a structured bag or a small pouch? Consider when you plan to carry your new handbag. Will it be an everyday bag to carry to the office? Will it be a bag to wear for special evenings?
Let's face it, buying a handbag is not a necessity, but rather a luxury. And let's be clear, the purchase of a handbag is an emotional purchase. And let's not forget, buying a handbag is one of those purchases we make even though we already own several other handbags. Given all of that, let's make selecting a handbag, a smart purchase.

Hi O Silver!
We couldn't think of a name for this bag while making it, and then it hit me while taking the photo that the name had to include the word "silver", hence High Oh Silver! This bag is the result of having way more silver than other duct tape rolls, and so voila! a silver bag with black chicklets and a punch of red.
OK, I've got to come up with six to eight bags (more like six) for a fashion show and which ones out of the Duct Tape series I'll select to make the event. The lineup so far, includes the red woven bag, the big totes in black-check and black-check with red strip. I keep waffling on which ones to take. I like the yellow bag but then again, I think the blue/green woven one is a sure thing.
Oh well, I'll come up with something. But you can help out if you like. Please do...

What is Duct Tape?

If you look up the definition of duct tape in the dictionary, here's what you're likely to find:
Noun
S: (n) duct tape (a wide silvery adhesive tape intended to seal joints in sheet metal duct work but having many other uses) "duct tape holds the world together"
Well, Bagabonn has learned that there's more to duct tape than just a silvery adhesive tape. There's a lot more. We scoured the net and then a close relative sent me a photograph of an airplane that was victimized by a bear and it became clear to me that duct tape is the perfect material to use in making a handbag. Notice the two photographs and which end took the most punishment from the bear, and the end wrapped in duct tape seems to have escaped the bear's visit.

Many women are looking for that bag that is durable and sturdy and can withstand a lot of punishment. Many Moms don't want to carry around a $1500 handbag with a child on their shoulder who may at any point use the bag as a deposit for "throw up". With duct tape you can wipe down the surface with warm water and soap, and the bag is good as new. With duct tape if you get caught in the rain, your bag is not a casualty. And here's a really good plus for duct tape. When you need to make a repair, it's pretty easy and inexpensive.
Advantages:
No dry cleaning
Wipe it clean
Waterproof
Inexpensive
Durable, sturdy
Fashionable
Lightweight
